The CYBER-BRIDGE project has officially commenced, bringing together 9 partners from Romania, Cyprus, and Greece to develop cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions for cross-border cooperation.
Funded under the European Union's Digital Europe Programme (Grant Agreement No. 101249702), the project will deliver AI-powered threat intelligence platforms, compliance automation tools, and collaborative defense mechanisms over the next 36 months.
Project Objectives
CYBER-BRIDGE aims to strengthen Europe's cyber resilience through:
- •Cross-Border Threat Intelligence: Establishing a secure, interoperable platform for sharing cyber threat intelligence across EU member states
- •EU Regulatory Compliance: Developing AI-driven tools to help organizations comply with NIS2, Cyber Resilience Act, and GDPR requirements
- •Critical Infrastructure Protection: Strengthening the cybersecurity posture of critical infrastructure operators
- •Cybercrime Investigation: Enhancing cross-border cooperation in cybercrime investigation
- •Training & Knowledge Sharing: Building cybersecurity capacity through cyber range exercises and training programs

Next Steps
The consortium will now begin the requirements analysis phase, engaging with stakeholders across all pilot use cases to ensure the developed solutions meet real-world needs. The first consortium meeting is scheduled for February 2025.
